A reliable protection dog needs more than intensity. The dog must be able to settle, recover, read the situation and respond to its handler. We build those habits before advanced protection work begins.

From selected puppy to trained protection dog.

Training begins at 8 weeks and continues through 24 months. Each stage prepares the dog for the next one; we do not rush advanced work to meet an arbitrary deadline.

  1. 8 weeks

    Selection and foundations

    We assess temperament, engagement, confidence and recovery, then begin relationship building, play, handling and household routines.

  2. The growing dog

    Socialisation and obedience

    The dog experiences daily life, traffic, travel, new surfaces, people and other animals while building recall, positions, neutrality and impulse control.

  3. Advanced training

    Controlled protection work

    Protection is introduced around maturity and aptitude. The work develops clear activation, release, recall and composure under pressure.

  4. 24 months

    Matching and handover

    We match the dog to the handler and daily environment, teach the handling system and support the transition into home or business life.

After handover

Lifetime support for dog and handler.

Training continues when the dog enters a new home. We provide lifetime support by video call and onsite help when required, whether the question is about handling, routines or a change in the dog's environment.

When does training begin?

Training begins at 8 weeks and continues through 24 months. Early work centres on relationship, confidence, socialisation and clear everyday behaviour.

Where do the puppies come from?

We purchase puppies from selected breeders. We assess the individual puppy rather than relying on breed, pedigree or appearance alone.

Can a Belgian Malinois be a family protection dog?

Yes, when the individual dog, training and household are a suitable match. Malinois are demanding dogs, so we look closely at family routines, handling experience and the environment before placement.

Do you train dogs for businesses?

Yes. Business placements are planned around the handler, premises, travel and the ordinary situations in which the dog must remain calm and manageable.

What support is available after handover?

We provide lifetime support by video call, with onsite help when required. Support can cover handling, home integration, routines and changes in the dog's environment.
